Um... if your real question is "what should my diet look like to build mass", then the answer might include a mass-gainer.

A mass-building diet will have a lot of food in it, maybe some shakes, but mostly whole food. Check out Steak's workout journal for a look at what a mass-building diet looks like.

If your daily routine means you can't always haul a load of food around, mass-gainer shakes with carbs in might be worth considering - but first get your diet sussed and try mostly for real food.
