S/B/D ratios??

Howd did the ratios read in your last comp?

1:1:1, every comp lift would be 100% of my ability at that point in time :grin: Funnily enough, my ratios will always be 1:1:1. Cool huh? Perhaps you could analyse your TP's ratios Steak? Or, if you're really keen, analyse the women's section of the NZPF 3 Lift Records for any trends 8)

My point was that aspiring to be a "balanced lifter" or meet ratios considered "good", whatever, is like aspiring to be 34-26-34. Sure you can try, but I personally feel it's more productive to identify weakpoints and try to improve each of your lifts as much as you can, because as Mr Swine noted:

Wish I could say that... learning to "bring it" to each session's an art form.

Again, common sense breaks out... I'm happy that my squats are good, but I won't stop working them hard while I wait for bench to catch up. I may never have a great bench (contrary to my Scottish ancestry, I have long arms and short pockets, not the other way around :doh:) but I'll always be working it.
