Bacteriostatic Water

Hey guys does anyone know where to get bacteriostatic water from??

Have tried chemist and the exchange they only have sterile water.... any help on this one would be great!!

my mate about 6 months ago bought it from a u.s site, its legal to import and not that $$. def. worth getting quite a few bottles at once. im gonna need some myself, but havent got around to asking what site he ordered from. il ask him today and post up later

spoke to my mate. he ordered off a site melanocorp.com, though the site seems to be down atm. they removed bac-water from their online shop, but if you email them they will sell it. worked for my mate. any other known genuine sites?

Add .9% BA (1ml) to 100ml sterile water to make bac water. Get your friend at Uni doing chemisrty to make it for you :pfft:

Does that little alcohol actually kill bacteria, or just it just stunt their growth?

You need to put your newly made bac water through a syringe filter into an empty sterile vial. The filter removes bacteria, the BA prevents bacteria spores from germinating. That's my understanding anyhow.

I am trying to "aquire" some from my "Pharmacy" friends However I think it is just best to bring some Bac Water in. I only need 2 ml for my latest project. :wink:

Its perfectly legal to import. My last lot was inspected by medsafe and sent on its way to me.

$10US for 3 bottles, only downside is the postage is $15 but I guess its quick and easy, got some in a week.
