Win a BACKSTAGE PASS to the Les Mills NABBA Wellington Champs!

We're giving away a backstage pass to this event, courtesy of NABBA Wellington. Not only do you get into the show for free, you'll also be allowed backstage to see the athletes getting ready. On top of that, we'll throw in an NZBodybuilding.co.nz tshirt for you!

post-2-14166820808298_thumb.jpg

Interested? Here's the deal:

  • You'll be our NZBodybuilding.co.nz reporter, so you'll need to have a camera.
  • We'll send you a NZBodybuilding.co.nz tshirt, which you'll need to wear to the event to identify yourself.
  • You'll take heaps of photos of the competition, and post them on this site. On-stage, off-stage, back-stage... we don't care, so long as there's lots of them!
  • Talk to the athletes by all means, but don't be pushy. They've got bigger things than you to worry about.

If you're up for it, send me an email to win@nzbodybuilding.co.nz with the following:

  • Your online username
  • Your real name
  • Your shirt size
  • The address we should send the shirt to
  • Why you'd make a great reporter for us!

You need to have emailed me before Thursday 2 September, so do it now.

Hi Folks!...NZBB sent Gasp along to the Les Mills NABBA Wellington Champs to check out the local and visiting talent and the photos are proof of yet another well organised and patronised show.

A credit to all the competitors for their presentation.

About 40 something competitors fronted up with around 100 supporters at pre-judge this afternoon at the Lower Hutt Town hall.

Although the back-stage pump-up area resembled a competition for how many you can cram into a phone box, everything else went well and some great talent was on display.

Notable was the best over 50 line up seen a local comp with Max Stott, Terry Hills and Steve Quinn showing that Wellington must have the best BB longevity in the country.

Some great new talent spotted with Byron Peach and Bobby Kazemi (Bobsta) in the Novice Physique.

Byron at 24 and 100kgs and Bobby at 31 and 88kgs doing his first comp both looking really well primed for this show.

...and of course Bruce looking awesome in the open.

Congrats to all.

More to follow.

He needs a new stylist! looked like a wig!

Or is it because the majority had little or no hair?

Kudos for getting up their though and sure looked the part hair aside!

Haha... thanks mate, yea aparently if i had a hair cut I would have looked 105kg's instead, oh well might cut it off for the next show.

All in all a great experience and a nice way to get my feet wet. Thanking the organizers for putting up such a great show and also the judges
