I am in no way being disrespectfull to any of the competitors here as they all worked very hard, but the show needs a bloody good revamp!!!! Where was the rush and the feel good factor for the audience??? ( unless you were a family member of one of the competitors )The MC of the event, however dedicated, was mumbling along throughout the whole proceeds and just did not bring any charisma to the event whats so ever!!! Why was the audience participation comp held on the floor and the back of the hall?????

Could there have been more of an effort made to bring increased numbers of expo stands to the event???

Where was the advertising to promote the show???????

I understand that all this takes alot of hard work to get together, but we are talking about an event in one of the major cities in the world!!!

Maybe the numbers of competitors and audience figures would even go up.

From those comments I take it you have never been to any comps in either Europe or the US then?

Not at all. I have since 1997 covered comps in Greece(2), Spain, Germany(2), Hungary, China, Philippines(2), Hong Kong, Los Angeles(3), Phoenix, Las Vegas(2), Sydney, Melbourne, Dubbo, plus NZ(200+).

So I have seen them all from the very good to the best forgotten.

That is an impressive amount of events in many various places around the globe and from that you will be able to rate this years NABBA event in Auckland accurately. Auckland and New Zealand has a excellent number of BB,s and fitness people both to participate and view. The group and I that attended the event feel that both parties could of experienced a better event.

I wish NABBA good luck for future events.

Thanks for your response. Of course there were aspects of the show that could have been improved, as with any show, and I am broadly in agreement with one or two of the points you made. But as with most BB shows, the number of critics far outnumber the number of helpers...
