Yes - but there are levels of convenience and some convenience is better than others. I have a gym literally next door to my work, which would save me about 20-25 mins of traipsing to the gym I actually use 5 days a week. However, the gym I use also has a branch which is near my home (which saves me a 1.5 hour round trip of walking to train and sitting on train there and back), and I am finding that faced with the choice of switching gyms, having the second gym near my home is better than having one right next door to my work.

Technically the gym next to my work is probably saving me more time overall - but only by a small amount (10-35 mins depending on how fast I walk to and from the gym), so for me on balance the two branch option wins out. It also means that if I want to go to the gym after work and before dinner, I don't have to wait almost an hour between finishing training and getting home, which is much better for my eating.

So it depends on what you call convenient - for me, both are but in different ways.

It has crossed my mind! I have joked the the BURLY gym owners that I could sneak in, they didn't laugh with me on that one!

It has crossed my mind! I have joked the the BURLY gym owners that I could sneak in, they didn't laugh with me on that one!

I know a man who could probably design a sneaky secret door for you :lol:

I have been too scared to ask him if his wife is into BodyBuilding and goes by the pseudonym of Chillicat! If I'm thinking of the right person he is responsible for my PINK WALL I loveit!!

Even funnier that you meet him before you meet me, the one you actually interact with in the internet world! If you see him again, say hi - he's probably in serious business mode when he's at work so might not say 'hi are you one of those mad BBers my wife is always talking to online'!

We're not all mad :pfft: - but who else would be entertaining a "Fast Lane" to their gym! :crazy:

He thinks we're mad for enjoying going to the gym at all, never mind wanting to look the way we want to look - so in his mind we are all mad, including me! He's English - they value their beer guts :lol:
