I would say the Combined Services part would be like the one they ran in the Thames show two years ago and that was Police, Fire, Correction Centre, and other Government Departments.

The only thing when doing this, it needs to be known at least 6 months out from the show. I hope they get good numbers for it as its something Willie Walker has been working on.

As for the CNI yes it was a very well run show by Kaye and Darrel so if you are not happy about it than call Moe and let him know what you think

March 20 NZ Pro Figure / Amateur Bodybuilding Champs

... a bit confusing ... Is it the NZ amateur bbing champs ... or an amateur comp tapped on the side to allow nz athletes to compete in sydney?

My guess would be that there has to be an amateur show run with the Pro Figure so as to get some bums on seats.

No one in their right mind would pay to watch a bunch of smooth woman do 4 Quarter turns.

No amateurs = no fans, simple as that.

What I would like to know who are the Pro Figure Woman that are coming to NZ and I have noticed that the NZ Pro Bikini contest is now not going to happen. All I know is that there is one AUS Pro Figure woman coming and I have not heard of any new Pro NZ Figure Woman doing it. So why doesn’t the NZFBB look at getting the IFBB Pro Men’s to come over from the Australia Pro Grand Prix show to do one here a week later that way they will get lots more bums on seats. Tony Doherty that runs the AUS Pro show has Kia Green coming down to do it and

Dexter "The Blade" Jackson also Michael Kingsnorth from NZ

The cost of getting the IFBB to sanction a male Pro show is massive for a promoter, and its money-up-front too!

This needs to be paid up about 6mths in advance and there is no refund if you decide to pull out.

The IFBB have been caught out a few times with dodgy promoters pulling out at the last minute, I think Shawn Ray did it once.

A promoter needs to be 100% certain that they can pull it off and get enough sponsorship money to cover their costs.

I don't blame Moe or any other promoter for not wanting to risk it.

The IFBB are ruthless when it comes to business.

I doubt whether the costs of running a Pro Figure comp would be the same.

It's not like any one wants to see it.

I personally wouldn't buy tickets to see as you said "soft women doing quarter turns." What a waste of money. Don't get me wrong there are some fantastic pro figure competitors in the IFBB.

But to spend money to promote them and Pro Bikini here in NZ? - they're better off keeping the money in their pockets.

By the way - what the hell is Pro Bikini?

The way the IFBB has treated it's Figure competitors is terrible.

Why are they no longer allowed to do compulsory poses and routines like every one else?

They are being treated like second-rate athletes, it's very disrespectful if you ask me.

Best way to show your disapproval is to vote with your feet, don't support Pro Figure comps, I won't be thats for sure.
