Ok I have never taken protein but I want to use it to get stronger for rugby. Is this protein good? http://eastsidebarbell.co.nz/whey-protein-powder/ I went into a retail store and everything is way to expensive for my budget. Anyway what is the difference between this stuff and the expensive stuff at the retail store like nitro tech

I would say that all the protein in NZ comes from Fonterra (as they process 90% of the milk of which whey protein is a by product) so it is safe to say all protein (made in NZ) is the same. There maybe some value added processing of the raw protein but most of the money is packaging and then the margin added.

Only thing I look at is $/g of protein. I use Eastside protein and have been for a year. I train at Eastside so easy for me, but a few other good deals around.

Six months ago I purchased a 20kg bag of protein powder for $380 delivered in Auckland. I don't know where in the country you are but the Auckland distributors of Fonterra whey protein is Davis Trading(you can't buy less than a tonne direct from Fonterra). There ph # is 095742250. What I bought was 80% protein, they also have 95% protein for over $500per 20kg.
