Good morning,

Just signed up and wanted to say hello and what not. I am a 82kg 5foot7 21yr old post grad student who has recently taken up martial arts with a focus on training for MMA (currently take 2 MMA specific classes a week, 2 Ju Jitsu classes, and hope to take a couple of Muay Thai classes once my fitness level is high enough).

I am going to try focus mainly on improving my martial arts this year but will be heading into the gym for conditioning and strength. My goals for the end of the year are:

1) Deadlift 2 x bodyweight

2) Squat 1.5 x bodyweight

3) Bent over dumbell row 0.5 x bodyweight

4) Dumbell press 0.5 x bodyweight

I hope to reach these goals while improving the amount of bodyweight pull ups etc that I can perform and gain the ability to work continuously through 5 x 5 minute rounds. As I am new I do not know how attainable these goals are but I guess they can still be goals :)
