Members -- What are your life goals? (Short/Long term).

There hasn't been much activity going on the forum for the past week or so, maybe cause we're all elite and shit.

So what's a man to do but make a thread on Life Goals at 10 am on Tuesday morning.

Bodybuilding can be included in life goals, because I know there are some anal-retentives out there (you know who you are) that consider bodybuilding a way of life and good on you for doing so.

As you know life goals can be short-term or long-term. They can be in all areas of life, ie family, work, personality, opposite sex, whatever you can think of.

So tell us what they are?

(Even if you don't have a specific goal in mind, just put something down anyway.)

I'll throw a couple out for now...

Short-term:

-- Finish this god damn 'Supertraining' PDF.

Long-term:

-- Stop gagging everytime I smell mayonnaise.

Life goals at this point in time - Much to the dismay of my girlfriend many of my major goals are money and business focused

Short term

Nov/Dec 05

Get flatbench back up to 100kg (next weeks chest workout - maybe)

Bodyfat to under 10% (end of December)

Train for Sky tower Vertical challenge - for time under 9mins (this may be put on the backburner until 07 depending on when I achieve travel goal below)

Learn guitar

Learn Italian

Finally finish building 1966 Mini project car that has been on and off the road in various forms for last 8 years (mid december)

Jan/Feb/Mar 06

Continue Italian/Guitar lessons

Put business on the market/Sell current Business

Sky Tower vertical challenge end of March (if not travelling at the time)

Mar/Apr/May 06

Travel India 2-3 months

Jun/Jul 06

Purchase house & New business

Late 2006/early 2007

Children/Family/Marriage etc (not necessarily in that order)

Maybe enter another marathon and do under 4 hours or at least a few halfs with aim of under 1h35m.

2008/2009ish

Buy property outside of Auckland for Avocado/olive growing or similar

every 18 to 24 months - travel for 2 or 3 months

One of the goals I set in my early 20's of being a millionaire by 30 doesn't look like it's going to happen so unless a miracle/lotto win occurs within the next year I've reassessed my longterm goals:

2006-2015

Income $1mill/year by age 40

Purchase on average one new business or start new business each year for next 10 years, each drawing $2000/wk avg, by 10th year crack the magical $20k/week figure=$1mill/year - this should be achieved by 39 at which time I can ease back on the $$$ pedal a little.

2015 onwards

Further travel, learning and life experiences, hobby businesses, holiday homes scattered around the place and lots of cars and grown up toys

There's a few other little goals scattered within there but these are the main ones
