Well like everything there is proper use and then abuse. Proper use is barely noticeable and as I understand it used to enhance lagging parts to improve symmetry.

It does not make the muscle grow directly it just swells them up. It does stretch the fascia which as I have read is one of the reasons some people use it. To stretch the fascia and give the target muscle more room to grow in.

Its sort of the bodybuilding equivilant of breast implants. Basically you inject the oil into the muscle and it stretchs the fascia. As the oil dissapates it is replaced by muscle growth.
