Hi guys,

I took the advice and booted my P.T hehehe!

Anyway so im a newbie in the weights department - but am really loving it!

I do a lot of shoulder, arm & leg work, but you guys please tell me what weights or machines would be best to use to get my side planks, hips and right under my arm and back of arm pit lol

Thanks heaps

Pics would be good. My advice would be to make sure your form is spot on, being new to the gym it is easy to get carried away and lift more than you should, be careful of the shoulders, easy to injure and long time to recover. Perhaps try another PT, doesn't hurt to shop around.

Don't be embarrassed, everybody has to start somewhere and you can't be knocked for that! You can blank your face out too, nobody will know who you are!

But as stated, good form is key! Also, your description is a bit odd, take a look at this and tell us what you think is lacking:

I am guessing that "right under my arm and back of arm pit" is your tricep and rear deltoid area?

Yes you are so right Tricep, rear Deltoid, Tere's Major & Minor, Oblique, Glute & Inner Thigh! oh yeah and also I seem to be getting a 'chunky' neck! hmmm so I'm trying to avoid shoulder work!? is that right?

If by 'chunky neck' what you mean is the traps/trapezius, then that's hit by things like shrugs... emphasis on anterior, medial and posterior delts (the outer points of shoulders) should shift the emphasis.
