What's your connection here Nick?

I have a passion for health, fitness and helping others. Because Bob is a good friend of mine, and he has no current access to the web I'm helping him advertise.

Regards,

:?

Yes advertise. This is the gym section correct? You would agree without gyms bodybuilders would probably not have much of a sport, right? - Considering most spend their spare hours in one..

Advertising is done every day, even when you went to a good restaurant, and were happy with the service you told a friend about it, yeah? Your advertising for the restaurant. - You just gave the place free advertising.

Something to think about it next time you have an issue with 'advertising.' Especially when you're not an admin on these boards. Optimass, Stefan, BG.. If you guys have an issue with me letting everyone know about a great new gym that's opened up that could benefit a lot of guys here in Chistchurch let me know.

Regards,

Nick, you are very good at blurring the line between information and advertising. I know DarwinStef clearly explained this to you last time. :?

The purpose of this forum is to provide gym reviews, not gym adverts. I'll leave this topic in the hope we get some real reviews, but please stop using this site as a means to free promotion.

The "no joining fee" is great. The weekly rate is good too.

Hmmm, might go for a look-see.

(tip-toes away before getting drawn into the whole "is it advertising or is it not" thing)

Apart from the graphic at the top I don't really think It crosses the line to advertising.

I found it informative

I think it's advertising bro. He even says that himself.

But you are right, it is informative so no big deal. I am still wound up from the weekend lol. I guess my point is I don't want to see the site becoming a vehicle for all sorts of free advertising. When this happens the objectivity of the posts is lost IMO. Save this for twitter. :)

Anyway, the mods have it in check. I should move on and be positive.

Haha or you better stop "promoting" eastside events.

I think your jelous bro!

Yeah mate. I am very envious. Can't you tell?

I suppose the big difference is that Eastside is "not for profit". We host contests and run workshops to promote our passion and the sport. Subtle difference?

How's USANA working out for you Freek? :pfft:

I guess that is a "Review" & does not fall into the catogory of "Advertising" :pfft:

I am going to invite Nick down to do a review. First he has to train with the Genetic Freek. :)
