Breakfast on the run?

Almost literally...

I do my workout in the morning due to schedule issues. I have a protein shake when I wake up and currently have bircher muesli (1/2 cup oats soaked in fruit juice over night) topped with a spoonful of yoghut and some blueberries while waiting for my train (or on the train if I'm running late).

Any idea what I can replace the oat combo with that can be easily transported and is good for a cutting diet? It would need to be something that didn't require much/any prep in the morning and could be eaten straight after the gym while waiting for a train.

You could make some protein pancakes that you could just keep a stock of in the fridge. Depending on your carb requirements you could have egg whites (I usually have them boiled for ease of transporting to work/gym etc.).

When I'm on low carb I will sometimes buy fine cut oats and have them in my shaker with some protein powder and milk/water/smoothie.

I've never made the ones with cottage cheese in, but the ones I've made with oats usually keep well in the fridge. Although the low/no carb ones with egg whites usually go a little funny (kind of watery in the container).

I'll see if I can dig out the recipes... :)
