Hi all,

I'm a total noob to all of this - I've only very recently been bitten by the gym bug - I used to find any excuse not to go and now I'm loving being there!

I've got to say, having a personal trainer is a huge benefit!

So, about me?

Umm,

27 years old

male

5'5" (sigh!)

was about 84ish Kg about a month ago, I'm down to 77 as of 2 weeks ago.

Mostly looking to lose the tummy and muslce up! I miss the 6-pack I had as a teenager, although I mostly had that 'cause I was scrawny beyond belief!

I'm going to the gym about 3 or 4 times a week at the moment, mostly muscle-work (barbells/freeweights mostly) and once a week the PT and I have a good 40-ish min boxing session and then a rollout 'cause my IT bands/quads/calves are a bit screwed >.<

That'll do for now - I'm an open book so if you have questions, just ask :D

Yay a reply!

Well at the moment 'cause I'm still very new to this whole game I'm still learning all these new things to play with...

That said, last week was my first experience with bench presses and although it's a weird movement, I can see why people go on about it a lot!

And I think I may be slightly masochistic, but I quite like machine-assisted tricep dips at the moment too :P

For the record, I *hate* squats & lunges!

i hate squats and lunges too :pfft: i prefer doing leg press, which aint so much of a compound exercise as squats but its still a good exercise that works both the quads and the hammys
