Young guy doing the Combria Comp had a pretty crazy dehydrating regime using wine which ended him up i hospital on a drip after the show. He did real well getting 4th at the Junior Universe. Not bad going for 17.

Yeah I saw that too, that young kid is gonna end of with a farked back doing stuff like that at 13. Felt sorry for him as no one had should him good form let only anything, he was doing it all from the internet.

Did anyone see the show on Tv 1 1130 the other night. Had Micheal Alsop-Smith and 3 upand coming BBs doing their first show to quaklify forthe nationals. Was old footage....1999 I think...but still good to see the sport on the telly

Turn your wrists back and your biceps jump out!

It was a bit suss when those guys decided to do a pose down at the night club. :roll:

Ok for the Ladies with the wrist action but reckon the men are best grabbing their thumb with the fingers. Seen a few of the boys do a posedown after a show. Steve Orton does them at Mac'ers :grin:

I was at the Universe that Daniel got 4th in 2006. The competition was in Cuxhaven, Germany. Caught a brief glimpse of me in the mirror when video put on slow motion. Had a brief chat with him and his team who were complaining about the 6 hours it had taken them to get there.

Then I mentioned it had taken me 3 days and they didn't feel too bad.

Google NAC Universe 2006 and you will see the photos. There were some impressive physiques there.

I got 4th out of 17 competitors which was disappointing at the time but the competition was fierce .
