GP in Wellington

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good GP, who either doesnt buy into the cholesterol con or doesnt give you grief about cholesterol, in Wellington? Preferably in the CBD, Oriental Bay Roseneath parts of town?

I'm on a low carb, high protein & fat diet and sick of hearing GP's go on and on about cholesterol, everytime I visit.

I've been using a GP on the Terrace, will be seeing him next week, so will ask the question and see what reaction I get.

Yes, he is a registered doctor in NZ... has a M.B. Ch.B and is a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.

Yes I have "high" cholesterol. It doesnt worry me as I would rather have high cholesterol than low cholesterol.

I will ask The Doc on thursday when he comes in for his last session before the BBro, his is in the CBD. We talked a while ago about the difference between the Hutt and the City over percieved levels, Wellington (a lot of the GPs) seemed to have a lower High level than there counterparts out the Hutt.
