id switch out the banana (or add) 30g of dextrose. Higher GI carbs will spike insulin and the sugars will replace depleted muscle glycogen where as the fruit sugars are more likely to replace liver glycogen stores and the banana is slower digesting.

There's like 10g of fructose in a banana. It's not going to be that big a deal.

With water vs milk, i find im a lot fuller after the milk and usually dont feel like eating for a while afterwards, if i have water then 30 mins later ill eat a meal as well so get more in.

Also i cant take milk to the gym as shaker sits in the car for ages beforehand and it curdles :)

Yeah it's not a big deal at all but if you're wanting to replace muscle glycogen as NZPT has said above, there are better options out there other than eating a banana or any type of fruit for that matter.

Horley's Body Build is "Crap". You might as well use Complan. It's main ingredients are Skim Milk Powder, Buttermilk Powder, Whole Milk Powder,Fructose,Dextrose. People are concerned about adding milk to it but it is made up of Milk Powder anyway. Most Horley's stuff is rubbish.

Get a decent Mass Gainer and blend it with a banana.

Depends on how much muscle glycogen you're depleting in the first place, really. I'm not of the opinion that most people really have to worry about this unless they're endurance athletes or have specifically gone out of the way to deplete muscular glycogen.

Plus the idea of fruit being somehow bad is just funny to me. The entire notion of fructose being a "bad" carb source is the definition of wanking over research that doesn't match up to reality.

Over thinking, over analyzing separates the body from the mind.

Withering my intuition, missing opportunities and I must

Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines.

That really puts my post-wo Oats Noodle House 'shake' into perspective Rose
