ive been training for about 2 years now and am considering using steroids in the near future. ive read a bit up on steroids and it could be a serious option for me.

if i am 20 years of age feel i eat very well and train very hard and my mind is in the right place do you guys believe a 20yo is old enough to use them?

from personal use are you guys able to tell me if i should be worried about stunted growth and joint deteriation or are these just myths?

Look Mate this question comes up just about every week or two. Best do a bit of a search on this & other sites to get opinions. Personally, I think you are a bit young but then I dont know your body stats, training history, daily food plan, health, goals & aspirations. If you feel you have reached a stage in your physical development that is at a high level, then yes AAS can take you past that point, but they are no quick fix & its serious business playing around with your bodies hormones. I'm ure you will get a few opinions on here but really do your homework before going down that track.

I think you really need to have a think about this before you jump into using gear...

have you trained intensely and strictly for those two years?

is your diet spot on?

are you still experiencing gains?

Too many young guys jump into using steroids because they are an easy way out, a shortcut if you will. Have a big think before making any big decisions...

like nzmucles said do your research and just look at your diet and what supps you are taking also goals. set a goal out for yourself of were you wanna be 3 months 6 months and a year from now as i am 20 years old 115kg 6'3" and my diet has changed alot since i started 3 months ago the missus hates it but she is liking the change of my body. but anyway enough about me i totally think you should have a serious think before you go down the road of roids

have you stopped making gains / improvements? If not then I personally don't think you need to. Unless you have some kind of freak genetics and you're planning on making a living out of the sport - you should probably wait until you are challenged with your natural development before heading on this journey. Then it's more about continuing and building on that development.

IMO you have plenty of time and I'm not sure what your training knowledge would be like at 20 years ... the more you learn about how your body performs naturally by experimenting with different types of training, nutrition etc > the more effective your gains will be if / when you finally decide to do your first cycle.

:)

Good answers from the above members.

Ultimately it's a decision only you can make, but listen to what they say! It's not a decision that should be taken lightly and must be weighed against all the pro's and con's and any longterm implications.

Mate this is an Intermediate Level User Cycle. AS specified on the thread you referenced -

"Well, I´m going to set up some guidelines to figure out whether you´re an intermediate, ok? You´re an intermediate if you´ve been lifting for at least 3 years and have done at least 3 cycles. And I think, to make my definition of intermediate a little easier to understand, I´ll also suggest that you need to have done at least 3 different anabolic steroids, and stacked them in at least one of your cycles. You with me, so far? What I´m saying is that in order to be an intermediate, you have:

•Done 3 cycles or more

•Used three different Anabolic steroids

•Stacked 2 steroids in at least one cycle "

This is not a beginner cycle & has 3 complex compounds going in all at once. You should just start with the standard TestE between 300-500mg PW for 12-14 weeks. If you do this & have your training, nutrition & recovery dialed in you can gain 10-12kgs & keep a good % if you run a good PCT & continue to eat & train well with Zinc & magnesium supplements. Dont run before you can walk. You have got years to go to get bigger.

im interested in trying a cycle like this

http://www.steroid.com/intermediatecycle1.php

Test, Deca, Dbol :pfft:

Thats a pretty heavy course for a first time user. Would def drop the deca!

Run test by itself to see how your body responds.

If you get sides while running more then one compound it will be hard to know what it is thats causing them.

I wouldnt say people wern't replying.. maybe you just didnt hear what you wanted to hear. The guys who regularly post in here (and Im not including myself in this - Im sure you can figure out the people) really know what they are talking about and you should really take the time to listen to their advice. Far too many people ask question don't hear what the wanted to and just go ahead and do whatever they wanted anyway with often disastorous results. Just look through the other topics and you will see what I mean.

i didnt ignore what was advised, i just asked questions as i was confused and wanted a little clarity. perhaps i gave the wrong impression that i was or that i was jumping into it. i never jump into things and always make sure i know what im getting into. with the advice given and a little more research and communication on multiple boards i managed form a decent cycle and got the advice of experienced users on here and they thought it was much better and were more helpful. i messaged a number of members personally and got great advise and feedback, so i thank them for that.
