Just to let everybody know that the NZFBB Nationals are being held this coming weekend 29th & 30th at Auckland Girls Grammar. Hope all you local body building fans will be there to support our competitors, and to get yourselves motivated to maybe get up on stage next year.

Im ruled out on the 30th as theres a PL meet club Physical New Lynn.

Does anyone know what time it will start and what is the entry fee?

Last time it was something like 20$, this time I don't know.

if you go near ponsonby it is near the main rd, under the motorway. in the middle of the city, parking can be difficult though.

Well i thought that I would start the thread for this comp coming up on the weekend. hopefully the photos will be posted on this link too, please someone take some photos and throw them up on here before the monday

Does anyone know how many competitors there might be? also with the comp and the expected large number of competitors I am guessing that only the top three will be doing their routines. is this true???

I may go along to the prejudging, so if I do I will take a few photos. no promises though!

I have decided to flag going to the finals - all you get is overalls and routines, and I can find out who won from the website (eventually!)

Why do they have prejuding and finals on different days i thought most comps did pre judgeing mornings and finals at night

The NZFBB Nationals have been split over two days since 2003 - in 2002 there were 160 competitors at Nationals and the pre-judging didn't finish until early evening!! The finals went well past midnight, so it was decided to make it a two day event as it was too tough to schedule it all on one day.

AGGS is on Howe st, which runs between Wellington St and K-Rd. I'll be there too, although not in a NZBB t-shirt as I don't have one! :cry:

Alright.. I wont know for certain until friday evening if I can make it or not. But if anyone does see me .. 6'0 tall, 88kgs roughly wearing a NZBB T shirt, do come up and say hello.

Hey guys, I've just spent the day helping out at registration for the NZFBB Nationals being held this weekend at AK girls grammar. If you want to see some awsome bodies in great shape, come along you won't be dissapointed. Pre-judging starts at 10am on Sat and the finals are at 11am on the Sunday. There are over 140 athletes registered.

the big guy in the under 90 class....he did the fingers to someone when the overall was announced!!sifa the mean fella in the over 90 class on the left the stage not wantin to take a photo with the winner in the red trunks...the stuff moe was supplyin to them must of made them think they were good enough to win...But i wana see Sifa take out the overall next year because hes a Tongan like me...haha.
