finding a new gym (sth auck)

hey guys looking to get a membership at a gym in south auckland around the manurewa area.for me all i feel i need is a couple benches power racks and enough floor room to work on.

ive been into fitness plus and think its a pretty cool gym. the weight training room isnt the biggest but its not cramped and seems like a good enviroment. does fitness plus have any serious powerlifters or jacked up trainers there?

ive never heard of genetics gym but it sounds like a hardcore gym after reading another thread.

the gym ive been going to is a really big gym...and ive been satisfied with the equipment so i havnt felt a need to leave..i feel ill almost downgrade leaving this gym but at the same time i dont think its the place i need to be to accomplish my goals. its kind of a girly man gym to say the least.

all im worried about is there isnt enough equipment at these smaller gyms as mondays can be hetic.

can anyone here list for me how much equipment of the following is at fitness plus and genetics gym

benches flat/incline - freeweight/dumbbell

squat racks

power racks

chin up bar

dip bar

v-attachment (suited for tbar rows)

also are there any special equipment these gyms have? such as cambered bar, trap bar, hangers for leg raises etc etc...

one other thing that is important to me is the gym hours on a weekend does anyone know them for these gyms?

are there any other neighbouring gyms i should consider before i make a decision?

We lifted at Fitness Plus for the first two months or so after we got back to NZ when we were down that way, and I don't have much bad to say about the place. It's got solid equipment by my standards, although some of the machines are older stuff. That doesn't bug me since I don't use very many machines from the get-go, but it's pretty well equipped for powerlifting-type stuff.

They've definitely got everything on your list, too.
