sorry to bump an old post but i done an order on monday thru bodybuilding.co.nz i tracked my package today to find out where it was and it said "Your parcel is currently held at our depot as a calling card was left on a first delivery attempt. We are waiting for your instructions for Re Delivery"

they never left a calling card they didnt even come to my house! when i called fastway office in palmerston north for re delivery i aked them where my calling card was and the lady on the phone told me their worker who done the feilding deliveries did not turn up to work today and that i was to pick my package up tomorrow morning between 8:00-10:00

assholes! would help if i wasnt on home detention and palmerston north wasnt a 20minute drive away!

im never ordering anything online thru anyone who uses fastway again!

Have had the same issue twice before in Auckland.

I get all my supps from iherb USA. Last time I ordered on a Thursday it got delivered Saturday afternoon.Almost seemed logistically impossible.

They use DHL who drop off to your door and seem to have a pretty good timeframe going somehow.

They also have regular international airfreight deals going. Since using iHerb USA and DHL I`ve never bothered about ordering locally particularly with the $US at around 0.81.

I know what you mean. Couriers in NZ is shit al together. Its cheaper and faster from the states than in here in NZ. I use fedex and UPS and guess who always deliver on time. The funny thing is though that UPS and Fedex uses our courier companies(Fastway and PBT) to deliver localy and they are always on time and somehow they have cheaper rates than if i had to go to my local depo and ship something. I guess UPS, Fedex and DHL must be giving our guys alot of business and cheap ass rates.

I told courier post the other day to stick their business up their ass for charging me over $40 to send an item that weighed roughly 500-600g to the north island. Fucking thieves

I'm not sure who delivers out to Taitapu way in Christchurch, I think its Akaroa Couriers or something not sure as I have seen Fastways, but when i bought a $1000 PC from Auckland they left it on my fookin driveway!!!! I was shocked when I saw it just sitting there...I thought, what the f*ck? firstly I was in my house and heard NO knock or anything, and I HAD to sign for it.

My mate told me I should of told the courier company i never got my PC and i wud of got another one for free but i didnt think of that at the time.

I had been waiting bloody ages for the computer as well as it was late delivering, then to see it on my driveway,,,,,,,

So yeh, some courier companies are proper shit

anyone else have issues with these guys?

since theyv taken on most of the deliverys from punch and shotgun etc ive had nothing but issues!!

this week alone ive had two packages sent, but both times the courier has kncoked on my door at 7am, and by the time i get there to answer it hes gone!!! :doh:

he leaves his little card thingy, which i sign and leave out so he can see next time to just leave the package at my doorstep.

however, the lazy fuckers never return!

everytime ive rung them im on hold for like ten of fifteen minutes, so i give up for fear of a one hour hold and select the option to leave a message.

they dont seem to be getting the messages cos my goods still arnet re delivered!!!

i email them, they dont reply, leave messages, they dont return calls, leave the card to sign out on my doorstep as part of THEIR protocol, yet they dont follow it!

now this week i have two parcells which are probably going to get re delivered to where they came from, all because of fastways incompetance.

i will again try and contact them today, hopefully with a bit of luck on my side i might get through to someone...lets just hope its not a dropkick who doesnt know how to do his job!

im actually so pissed at fastway and convinced they are the single SHITTEST courier company in new zealand.

from now on, i will be asking whoever i purchase goods off to select ANY other courier company, as fastway are more trouble than they are worth!

avoid fastways services at all cost people!

they are cheapest for a reason!

i can only image how cheap they realy are, with the parts of their services we dont see, such as parcel handling.

Where im from(Timaru), Fastway couriers are complete shit. Average 3-4 days. Every other courier company delivers overnight without fail. Should be ashamed to call themselves a courier company.

mixed bag for me really, sometimes they are on to it with delivery, some other times they take 3 days to deliver stuff from bb.co.nz
