FASTWAY COURIERS

I recently had a parcel delivered by fastway that the courier signed for himself, but signed it saying "SNOB" (I saw it on the website track and trace). He must have realised someone was home but felt offended when no one answered the door. When I asked my girlfriend (who was home studying) about it she said she didn't even know the courier had been.

lol i got the driver who comes to mine busted doing that.

he wasnt even waiting for anyone. hed just pull up, fill out the card thingy and leave. so i rang them up, gave them a bollocking and he had to come back at the end of his shift.

why cut corners in a job which requires public satisfaction?

Yeah I've had similar issues from other couriers, they just sign themselves and bugger off or leave $2000 parcels where random people on the street can see them. Last one was Courier post too, its just the guy doing your run, all companies seem pretty good on the whole.

I'm choosing fastway as they would do the best deal for me, which means better prices for customers too.

I live and work in Kaitaia, I use fastway couriers for dispatching products all over NZ from work. 5 Years 3 differnt owners not one hassle. Just Smiley good customer service and no complaints from any of my customers nz wide.

I have anything i order sent to my work. Couriers are just people like us. :nod:

Well I am very happy for you but I cant accept the fact that it takes 5 working days to get an order to me from a NZ site that uses fastway when orders from US sites get to me quicker.

Now I just order from a NZ site that uses NZ couriers.

I have no complaints at all. I ordered something yesterday and there it was at the front door today when I got home. Brilliant service from the company (t-Leaf Tea) and the courier company.

Have to say that I was starting to have some serious doubts about Fastway, more because of one particular courier than the company as a whole. The one that covers my area has repeatedly refused to enter my property because of an old "beware of the dog" notice on the fence, despite the front gate always being open, and there being quite obviously no dog onsite. I have spoken to the Dunedin office, and they said that this was a common complaint with this driver.

However, on Monday night I odered some creatine from Nutratech, and it arrived this morning via Fastway. Not sure if the driver has been replaced or if the message has finally gotten through, but either way my faith has been restored. I'm expecting some whey tomorrow, so I'll see if the improvement is permanent.

Anywho, my faith has been restored (for now at least). Got home today to find my Whey sitting neatly at the back door. So 2 days in a row, the courier has managed to overcome her fear of signs, AND leave the package at the back door, just as instructed. I am truly impressed.

They have instructions from the people who it's being sent from not to leave it on the doorstep

They can also be held personally responsible for the replacement cost if it goes missing and you didn't sign i believe.

job description says something like:

Doesnt sound like theyve cleaned up their act much, similar story to Sarah1234, my 2 golden retrievers bark like mad but they would also run a mile rather than attack anyone, the courier arse always leaves a card now, I think he uses the cute barking dogs as an excuse to not even come to the door. Im sick of it.

I know bb.co.nz use them, I seriously suggest they consider changing courier companies.

We used Fastways when we first started out, but switched to NZ Couriers 8 months ago and now use them for all deliveries.

We never had too many problems with Fastway, the main reason for the switch was that NZ Couriers were able to offer us faster delivery times to South Island addresses.

sorry to bump an old post but i done an order on monday thru bodybuilding.co.nz i tracked my package today to find out where it was and it said "Your parcel is currently held at our depot as a calling card was left on a first delivery attempt. We are waiting for your instructions for Re Delivery"

they never left a calling card they didnt even come to my house! when i called fastway office in palmerston north for re delivery i aked them where my calling card was and the lady on the phone told me their worker who done the feilding deliveries did not turn up to work today and that i was to pick my package up tomorrow morning between 8:00-10:00

assholes! would help if i wasnt on home detention and palmerston north wasnt a 20minute drive away!

im never ordering anything online thru anyone who uses fastway again!

i ordered late wednesday night & it turned up at work before 8am thismorning,

and fastway always do that,never let me down yet!

iv got nather delivery im exspecting mon morning,ordered late last night.

hope it turns up.
