Feeling very sleepy in the afternoon???

Hi all. I just trying to figure out why and would be helpful if some1 can point what might be wrong. Cheers.

I sleep ok about 6-7hrs. below is the diet i made up from reading through this forum. I dont feel tired as such i just feel sleepy.

Could be just the work being so F8kin boring.. :pfft: :pfft: :pfft:

I workout 4days a week.

Diet (27yrs, 76kgs)

8.30 - oats+milk+50gm protein + 2 fish caps

10.30 - 150gm chicken + rice + 2 fish caps

1pm - 150gm chicken + rice + 2 fish caps

3.30pm - chop chop chicken (160gms) or a shake or cottage cheese (250gms) + 2 fish caps

5.30 - chop chop chicken (160gms) or a cottage cheese (250gms) + 2 fish caps

8.30 - 200gms chicken + veges + 2 fish caps

10.30 - shake before bed

Is it the diet am i feeling very somtimes between 1-3pm or so? or something else?

wow.....9 hours. seems like a lot. well i workout early mornings and i dont seem to have any problem getting up. Also even if i sleep early i just wake up after 6 or 7 hrs without an alarm at 5.30am. :pfft:

Looks like i may have to adjust my body clock again. :lol::lol:

Do you take any pre-workout supps?

Some will make you crash around that time, especially caffiene based ones

well currently using RPM. It was good at first few times. Now i keep taking 4 caps and cant feel shit. So i dont think its them. :-s :-s :-s :-s

I agree bro. Superpump is much much better. I thought i give the RPM a try becos its cheaper and would get the use of it for longer.

But i found out sometimes cheap means shit.

Maybe your glucose levels are low after weights and it makes you feel tired. I eat a bunch of jellybeans after my weights, gotta get the glucose levels back up and it also helps direct the post protein shake straight to the muscles much quicker.

I would say from the amount of carbs your consuming in the morning, that has peaked out your blood sugar levels. So once the carbs run out, you get sleepy..

Try taking a look into lower carbohydrate higher protein/fat nutrition. You won't get the crash, and you'll probably have far more energy than before
