I've heard a few horror stories from women traders who had allowed pick ups in the past.

Some guy went round to this womans house to pick up furniture that he bought, with NO intention in paying what he bidded for after the auction closed.

When he came to pick up the furniture she said he was intimidating and saying the furniture was not in good condition and trying to reduce the price. She said everything about the furniture had been mentioned/described in the auction along with photographs so he knew what he was bidding on in the first place.

He then told her to "shut her f#cking dog up" that was barking in doors and left angrily without paying after the women refused to give him the furniture for less than he had won the auction for. Oh yeh, I remember reading that he made a rude comment about her child being ugly or something. Lol. What a dick.

This lady reckoned this guy prob does this all the time to try and con vunerable sellers.

Dodgy twat.

Ladies, make sure you have a man around if someone is coming to do a pick up, there are some friggin weirdos out there.
