EatMe Creatine

Recommended Posts

This thread needs input from a chemist  :

If the creatine is manufactured under GMP then it IS pharmacuetical grade, as opposed to food grade. You can trust any creatine stating GMP accordance especially if it is also FDA audited.

Also the "anhydrous" referred to 4.4 g vs 5 g is a calculation correcting for the mass provided by water, creatine monohydrate has one molecule of water for every one of creatine itself.

Remember most of your trusted over the counter drugs are made in china/india, but yes there are also dodgy companies out there.

Geek rant over :pfft:

GMP

Thanks for your input Mr Chemist :) But unless explicitly stated (most don't), which GMP is it, the WHO version or some slack country's interpretation? Admittedly the FDA would be strict. But unless it's a pharmaceutical product, personally I wouldn't put absolute faith in something because it said 'pharmaceutical grade'. And even if it is a pharmaceutical product, look at the amount of drug f*ck ups there are :pfft: Marketing gimmicks to make stuff sound safer etc. 'Oh look, it says it's pharmaceutical grade/creapure/whatever, must be OK to take it then!' What if the product is only packed in the US? Who's 'GMP' is it then?
