Yay - finally... bloody-nora it took a while but they finally got there in the end!

Nabba Aus/CCI having been running this one show format forever, and it is so much easier on everybody - no pissing around and drawing a show out.

Now all they need to do is sort out some of the Nabba Classes : ie: height to weight ratios in figure - then we're talkin'

Good on the organisers of Nabba North Harbour - you guys are getting there!

This one show format is used in Australia Nabba and I have competed in one of these. It was very convenient for the competitor as I only tanned up once.

The prejudging was first, then the routines, then the prizes straight away. The classes would run so if you were in the overall you wouldn't wait too long.

Nabba Australia run the Nabba show first and then after the break would run the WFF. WFF is like our Athletic and shape and weight restricted figure.

I am the committee for the Nabba Wellington show next year and this is something which we will certainly consider if it is popular and if it is economically feasible. At present I presume because of cost some people pick to watch either the day or the night show. It will be interesting to see if the numbers increase for the North Harbour in a one show format.

Would people like to turn up mid afternoon for a show or are most people busy during the day?

It would be interesting to see how people feel about this format.

The one format NABBA shows that i have been to in the Gold Coast this year which is two of them went like this. The class that was up next would send out one competitor at a time to do their music routine and when all have done their routine they would all come out and do the compulsory round and then they would step back to the wall and each one would received a medal and a competitor pack. While this was going on the judges scores were being added up and then they would call out 3rd 2nd and 1st and the ones at the back of the line would walk off the stage and let the winners have their pictures taken.

Completing in the NABBA-WFF shows in AUS will cost you $50-00 registration fee for 12 mouths which runs from 1st Jan to 31st Dec. And then if you are completing than that will cost you $100-00.

The NABBA/WFF are both international body building, figure and fitness federations. They are separate organisations, but are affiliated, which provides additional benefits for members and competitors.

Each federation seeks a different ‘look’. NABBA tends to cater to the more muscular physique, while WFF favours a more athletic look within its divisions, and also offers a Sports Model division. NABBA’s divisions are determined by height only, where as WFF divisions are determined by both height and weight. The restrictions are strictly adhered to which ensures all competitors compete against athletes with the same physique type.

This is some of the men’s class

Men’s class 4 height below 1.65cm

Men’s class 3 height over 165cm & up to 172cm

Men’s class 2 height over 172cm & up to 179cm

Men’s class 1 height over 179cm
