Thank you to all NZFBB competitors in 2009

8) Hi there everybody... The only way I new how to personally thank you all was through this forum... :^o

As you're aware I was backstage running most of the NZFBB shows this year and including the Nationals. :clap:

Amongst all your dieting, training and preparation you made my life absoluelty awesome and easier than most other years. :roll:

Thanks for the fun and listening to me when you needed to get backstage, tanned, pumped and ready. \:D/

I wish you all well over the rest of the year and look forward to catching up with many of you next year. :doh:

Managing to keep a sense of humour even when the show is running an hour behind schedule is quite an achievement :grin:

Cheers for that and very humbled... Posing trunks... No more... 2005 was my last after 8 years. As for sense of humor, I think the last thing you competitors want to see is a stressed out backstage marshall :doh: (little did you know)... It's a shame I don't know everyones pseudonym but thank you... :shifty:

I have been to many shows that Mark and Terry have run or been involved with ( both as a spectator and a competitor ) and have seen the effort they both put in to make sure the shows are a success.

Both Mark and Terry are friendly and always happy to help out any competitor at any level. In my opinion it's guys like these 2 that are the real backbone of the NZFBB

Haha - yeah, that was me, Roughi - what hair I have left is mainly grey now ... the hair loss and greying is thanks mainly to the NZFBB and Oomps!! :pfft:

Thanks Tommy, Rod and trainharder for those nice comments. Oomps and I have been very good friends (and training partners) for nearly 8 years and we both love doing what we do to try and make a difference.

I've told Oomps he can have a break from running backstage at some of the shows next year ... he can stop picking on everyone else and focus on tanning me up for my return to the stage in 2010! :wink:

We use Crisco oil over here, but so long as it does the job and cuts back on the friction then who cares what you use I suppose.

I would also like to pass on my thanks, I may not be as active in these forums as others but have been competing (excuse any spelling) for a few years now, and have found the back stage/behind the scens folk most helpfull and as has already been said great at calming those nerves
