Personally im a very good runner at middle to long distance. But I have to say my calfs aren’t the biggest. I find hill Running on the treadmill or up in the hills really isolates the calfs a lot more as you have to be on you toes a lot more.

Only just started the hill thing my self but finding it very effective as far as bulking up my legs.
