Yeh I appreciate what you're saying, and I know I sound hypocritical in some ways when I say I dont shoot animals to eat or whaetver yet I eat meat from slaughtered animals anyway....what I mean is I wouldnt do the dirty deed myself and just wouldnt enjoy it. Anyhow, I dont eat duck and never will.

I shot a rabbit once no big deal. On our farm my dad has to shoot possums, pigs and rabbits to keep them under control or they'd take over. As long as its done humanely (i.e with a gun) I don't see a problem with it. Death is a part of life, got to happen sooner or later... Bloody tree huggers

British mate. I was in the Royal Anglians. Im only 25. Served my 4 years then got the f*ck out as it wasnt for me.

I suppose it was peer pressure as my old man was RAF but I chose the Army as I wanted some action and 'trigger time'.

Had to laugh at the yanks tho while we were there. Fucking mental bastards.

As GAY as this sounds I came out a different person from leaving the Army.

You could say it affected me a bit and I really didnt beleive in violence much after that.

Besides, I joined when I was 16, a dumb arse 16 year old.

And I laugh at all the wankers in my current job (security) who are all like yeh man im so tough and this and that blah blah, i was going to join the Army etc, and im thinking yeh but you didnt you twat so shut the f*ck up.

Also some of the young coppers ive seen about who think they are the shit yet havnt seen some of the horrible shit ive seen.

I've actually been there and done it while these tossers bang on about how tough they are etc.

But yeh, actually seeing REAL human violence and death in person does change you, unless you are a fucking soul less machine.

Cool. I work full time as a security officer........but currently doing research intio HD camcorders as I'm getting into film making....been into movies my whole life.

Trouble is every idea for a film has been envisioned in the UK so might have to go back there for a bit.

Also thought of an idea for a documentary-filming young Army recruits and see how they like the Army and if it changes them for the better or not.

This prob been done.........I'm really into psychology and shit as well.
