R.I.P Duck

On the way to my job this evening I ran over a duck and I feel really bad about it.

Was doing the speed limit of 100k and saw 2 black things on the road infront of me all of a sudden. Didnt have time to stop but slammed on breaks as I thought it was a dog or something and saw the duck's face in the headlights just before it met its fate.

I came to a full stop and looked behind me to see feathers in the air and the duck's mate waddling off.....he was prob thinking "you killed my mate you F*****# C***!!!!!!

Well i know i sound like a poof but i really ducks and for me its not the same as hitting a rabbit etc.

That duck is going to come for me tonight in my dreams or some shit, or haunt me.

:(

At least you braked...

What if ducks are like swans, and mate for life.... that poor lil ducky's gonna be stuck!

Reminds me when I was living in the States, driving down a country road, saw a dead groundhog at the side of the road. Driving back a couple of hours later, his/her mate had turned up, and was poking the recently-departed ground-hog with its paw, as if to say "Come on, mate, get up, we haven't got all day".... it was kinda tragic

Do you also feel sorry for the chicken you had for dinner tonight 8)

Just because I feel bad about running over a duck doesnt mean I have to justify why I eat chicken or why I should feel bad about chickens dying for consumption etc....

Im no animal rights freak or anything I just am a sensitive kind of guy...aaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaha not really.

Oh and if you are wondering why I sound really gay and homo about ducks (thats ducks, not dicks) its because we had them as pets when I lived in UK on the farm etc. So I'm kind of fond of them. (Not in that beastiality way tho.)

Ducks have feelings too you know.....LOL.

bahaha! pussy! i guess youve never been hunting? :gunfire:

Oh hey Mr Macho duck hunting guy.....nah dont do that shit...a pointless sport. Bang bang...animals dead....gee.....real clever... make you feel big and tough eh?

No not really but it certainly fills the fridge up. apparently some animals contain meat which can be used as a food source? ill have to check my sources though. and yes do you feel sorry for chicken that gets ran thru electrified water and is electrocuted to death? reality check??

Ok fair enough if you are eating what you shoot thats cool. Yeh that sucks about chickens dying like that. But i dont give a f*ck as i eat chicken lol. I hold ducks in higher regard as i had them as pets. Thats my point.

real talk, last time I hit a duck an a cat I had swiftly to finish them off... Very hard for me to do, but it was the only way to relieve them off the eminence pain they would have been in from the injuries.

The cool thing about male ducks is they stick round til the kids are born. Sure they might fark off after birth but while the Mrs is preggers, Mr Duck sticks round to help out. Now that's class 8)

(So yeah he's probably pissed you killed his spawn and will haunt you foreverer and everer  :pfft: )

RIP to the poor duckie. Dont worry PUTJ, was most likely instant.

Ducks are cute, they waddle and quack.

Chickens are scary. Pointy beaks and clawed feet and they run like little dinosaurs! The only good chicken is the one on your plate.
