I'm glad it went to another continent for a change, other than the usual North America/Europe Tango with the odd bone thrown to to East.

The americans will still get it in the same time zone which will be good for TV revenues, couldn't go to Madrid straight after being up the road in London, and the people of Tokyo didn't want it (and too soon after Beijing).

That is good that Rio de Janerio got the 2016 Olympics instead of the same old North America and europe.I am also glad the 2016 Olympics did not go to the states \:D/ \:D/
