Les Mills Hamilton Upgrade...

Finally, the Tron is having an upgrade. For those of you who dont know, Les Mills have bought the owner out of LM Hamilton.

On Labour Weekend the gym will be closed for commercial cleaning. This alone is enough to celebrate about. The gym is well known for its level of disgusting filth and the cleaners have about 15 years of sludge, sweat, and grime to remove.

From there, most of the equipment is to be replaced - starting with the womens gym which will politely be returned to Noah and the Ark.

I'm not too sure what is happening with the old equipment but if you are interested in getting your paws on it, let me know and I'll ask the powers that be who are running the operation.

The rec centre is a fair better gym in hamilton anyway. The only problem it is so dam busy at night!!

Thats a personal opinion. Every gym has peak times. I have a good handful of clients from uni-rec who tell me LM is better (but location is easier at UR for them), again, each person has their own opinion.

I used to train at the rec centre. It does get crazy busy at night aye?

I like the space down in the power gym at Les Mills and the equipment isn't too bad.

Looking forward to the upgrade though.

i go to ringside gym in hamilton, everytime i go there , theres like 1 person working out, pretty good gym to clean etc

That IS a nice gym. Lots of natural light and plenty of room in the weights area too. I used to train a client there and never saw any women!
