Train your abs like any other muscle group, so they're worth seeing

Do cardio and work your diet, so that they can be seen....

Cardio on its own won't necessarily always deliver defined abs

Weights on its own won't necessarily strip off bodyfat covering abs

Do all three things (diet, cardio and train) and you should get there :)

I would suggest that you watch your diet especially limiting your carbs in the evening, and have your cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

The key to getting your abs it to be disciplined at the meal table and to train hard and consistently. To effectively sustain your abs and have them all year round I would suggest cycling your diet a little. It all depends on your body shape, motivation levels and genes as they all come into focus.
