iphone - worth it?

for those that dont want to spend quite that much on a phone, heres the next best thing, got most of the same features obviously not quite as smooth not having itunes to sync all music etc but overall $ to goodness ratio not a bad buy

my flatmate has the new iphone 3gs and its awesome but i cant justify spending $1350 on one when the one above does basicly the same thing but is 3x more

I got one of these a while ago when they were a bit more pricey, pretty good phone but has nothing on an iphone as far as apps and stuff go, music player is decent, but its quite bulky also

i dont think its much bulkier than an iphone, yea the apps on iphone are better but to be honest i dont think id use them much anyway, maybe for like the 1st few weeks then i would be over it. I think it measures up pretty well overall

Because you could be typing your emails on a full qwerty keyboard.. yet to see anyone type anything fast on an iPhone.

I was going to make some smart comment about the iPhone's lack of copy-and-paste abilities, but I see that 3GS model finally supports it. And Apple are so excited about that, they list it as a feature. :pfft:

Came out via cydia ages ago and apple brought it out in 3.0 AFAIK
