Never been a great fan of Jay's but all credit & congratulations to him on his win tonight at Mr Olympia 2009. He is the most transformed competitor for sure. Also to Branch Warren for going runner up. He deserves it given his long experience of coming in hard a granite like which is what he had dialed in today. Shock was Phil cominig 5 after Kai at 4 Dexter at 3. Also big congrats to Moe for getting into the top 10 in a very tough competition. At least the US$14 k will pay his Hotel Bill :D Great competition probably one of the best in the last few years.

Totally agree with all of the above. I was never a big Jay fan either, but he truly deserved this win and was the obviuos winner.

Jay deserved his win. Standing next to Branch highlighted how wide he is up top. Massive shoulders.

Yeah there was a photo taken from behind of Jay sitting at the competitors meeting , he was wider than everyone by a mile. That combined with how drawn he looked in the face, I knew he had absolutely nailed his prep right then and there

Wolf came in a bit smooth. He was 9kg heavier than last year but at the expense of his conditioning.

Man, didn't expect him to drop that far. Overcompensated for last year when he came in flat then.

Wolf came in a bit smooth. He was 9kg heavier than last year but at the expense of his conditioning.

Man, didn't expect him to drop that far. Overcompensated for last year when he came in flat then.

Yeah exactly right there mate. His trainer under carb loaded him last year and let him spill over this year!

He made Ronnie look bad, now Victor M, Wolf and Melvin have their worst results. Guy will be lucky to have anyone working with him next year.
