Best Supplement/Food before bed?

Hi all. I was just wondering whats the best supplement/food to have before u go to bed for 8hrs of starvation. :pfft: and feed the little muscle so it doesn't disappear.

Seen quite a few people using Casein protein before bed as its a slow release protein. But i guess its little expensive. Or is it good to buy some?

After my evening meal at 9pm. At 11pm I currently have little bit of lite cottage cheese as a snack or WPI (dont have any other protein) mix it with cup of light blue milk and drink it to slow the absorption.

Let's say give options for both, for people who are cutting (thats me) or bulking?

Not sure if this is right or not, so hopefully if I'm wrong someone will be able to point me right.

Cottage cheese (light) contains casseine, so before bed I've gotten into the habit of having a serve of jelly fluff (from the recipes section). Have found that chocolate PP with either raspberry or blackberry jelly works best.

I'm also cutting at the mo

I OD'd on sludge the other night - made enough for a few days, then scoffed the lot in one pre-bedtime sitting. So I'm off sludge until I can learn better self control :lol:

Ha! Yea the other day I actually had two helpings and was beating myself up for ages - though I guess as cheats go there are worse ones!

Mine was a good 3 helpings worth... :naughty: And after hubby's homemade pizza the night before :oops:
