2L skim milk a day

Hi there, I am currently following the "Squats and Milk" theory.

The idea is to drink a glass of milk with all meals ( 6 meals a day ) but I have become very fond of it somehow.

By my calculations I am getting around 2l of skim milk a day. I work out 3 nights a week but also have 3 or more cardio sessions in a week.

Is this amount of milk ok or too much? I am 1 week into it and found no problems so far but I am guessing the damage could be from extended use maybe??

if im thinking straight that in itself is 300g of carbs in itself.. if your going for all out bulk i suppose thats fine..

Just looked on fitday, it is 2% so its only 102 carbs, 43 fat and 72 protein.

Just over 1000 calories.

I am trying to put some weight on hence the squats and milk routine. 1.9kg in the first week but alot of that will no doubt be fluid weight.

I was asking about the how safe that amount of milk is. Have been reading that some guys are drinking up to 5 litres a day while they bulk...If I take in anymore I don't think I will go above 3 litres....

damn thats a lot of milk in a day :shock: dont you have any flatulent problems? or is it just me :shock:

hahah um nope, must just be you. Maybe the extra litre a day now might give me problems, lets wait and see.. Aiming for 3L a day now

Hey mate cheers for that. Upping to 3L today so will see how things go.

Just noticed your signature aswell.. "compound lifts" Right on lol...

Spent a while at 4l blue top a day, was quite bad bloat though, felt as though I was getting real fat although the scale was hardly moving.

Yeah I am getting a little bloated but have been able to push past it so far..

Scales have moved 2kg in a week so far. Will see how the other 5 weeks go :)
