Hi guys,

My name is James, I'm an 18 year old ice hockey player from chch. I've been playing all my life but have recently started to make some high level regional and national teams and have some hefty goals of where I would like to be over the next few years in terms of playing overseas and playing at the highest level here. I have never got into a serious training routine off the ice and this is exactly what I am starting to do now. I have goals of becoming bigger, faster and stronger to keep up with the bigger guys and the physical nature of the game. I'm not a big guy at all, but I want to change that.

My question to you is where can I find a good gym that cares about my progress and goals that isn't too expensive? I have been to a few gyms in the past with varied results (Les Mills was a decent place to train but was rediculously expensive!).

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading.
