Losing weight vs Gaining weight

Most people think of exercise/fitness as trying to lose weight or getting rid of extra flab around mid section and rarely ever catagorised from another perspective.

Most if not all diets are aimed at middle aged overweight men. It's not necessarily the highest majority of physical performance it's just most noticable.

Imagine a 32 year old mildly overweight 5"11 weighing 95kgs with a large belly whos relatively un-fit. Then imagine a 16 year old skinny teenager 5"11 weighing 53kgs.

Old man wants to lose 10 - 15kgs

Skinny teenager wants to add 25 - 30kgs

Which do you think would be harder?

Bare in mind that this would be a relative example, an example involving somebody that is far more overweight wouldn't compare directly to somebody trying to put on alot of weight as it simply wouldn't coninside.

Yeah i've always thought it's harder to put on weight than drop it, yet for some reason it's always fat people that beg to differ on that matter. Most are just lazy anyway, they complain about being fat yet eat bars of chocalate and cakes.

And yes 32 is old man, pretty much 30 upwards

loosing weight is shite easy.. relatively easy to perform some cardio.. follow basic concept of calorie deficit.. maybe gain a wee bit of muscle to help boost metabolism.

Gaining clean weight is a tremendous task for most.

32 is not old.. wait till I hit 30 - 40. Most of my 20s will be spent gearing into my peak physical form which will be well maintained in my 30 s and 40s.

Yes teenage girls will still oggle at me when im on the beach and im 35. dont burst my bubble . goes back to cottage cheese.

I thought peak physical condition was during your teens when you have the raging hormones :pfft:

I've put on 14kgs in one month and 23 days, beat that

That's because i eat like a horse now, i eat a meal every 2 hours and if i'm not full from that i stuff down 4 bits of toast or apples or something until i'm bloated, i've just had my 10pm meal, eating my 12pm meal now then waiting until 2pm to have my before bedtime meal then waking up at 8am to have my next

I eat like a horse as well. Don't want to eat all the food otherwise I will probably will get kicked out lol.

I eat till you can hardly see my 6-pack and my stomak is not nice and flat anymore after piging out.

Ahh .. being young is good isnt it?

Plus I piss like 5 times from 10 pm to 12 pm.

Thats from all the apples and bananas I eat. So I piss outside sometimes so I dont wake anyone up with toilet flushing.
