Creatine monohydrate

Balance 100% Pure Creatine Monohydrate with the green label.

Freakin expensive for a small container at Health 2000. I got some good strength gains considering it is cheapo made in china stuff.

Inner Armour Creatine looked like real shiny icing sugar and did absolutely nothing for me. Waste of money.

Used Red8 Creatine which was mixed with what smelled like Horleys orange flavour replace drink powder. You had to use a giant scoop for a serve. It worked well, but the taste was too much half way through the container and I never finished it.

Now using a creapure brand powder which is spot on for strength increases and body weight gain post loading but expensive.

BigMD and I use Metaphysics Creatine Monohydrate. I find it takes effect about a week after I start take it. Find I recover quicker (less muscle stiffness) and seem to be able to gain strength. I have 6-8 weeks on and 4 weeks off.

I'd been using the Metaphysics Creatine Advance - the same basic product with AAKG, L-Arginine, Taurine and Vitamins B3, B6 and C.

Why ? Probably cos I didn't notice the regular Monohydrate on the shelf  but I agree with GMM that it is effective, at least for me. I found that it seemed to work better for me than other products including NFS Kre-alkalyn.

What's the general consensus on monohydrate vs Kre-Alkalyn? Kinda like the idea of no side effects and no need to load, but is it as good as the claims that are made about it?

hey Ronin iv tried kre-alkalyn as well, and didnt notice much increases at all realy,i prefur micronisied monohydrate because it mixes much better than straight monohydrate in cold water. :D

I use Optimum's Creatine Monohydrate and works very well for me. I can feel a big increase in strength after about 2 weeks of using creatine. And then when I go off it, I can feel my power is gone. I tend to use it for 7 or 8 weeks and then 2 weeks off.

If you were just to order the creatine shipping would be around $40nz id recomend getting a few items making shipping per item not so bad. Still $120 for 2kg of german creapure monohydrate is a good deal $6 per 100g so $18 for 300g

Just a warning, if you do buy a large quantity make sure you repackage it into smaller lots, otherwise if you open a 2kg bucket every day for a month youll find that the powder will start to go lumpy as it takes on water from the atmosphere. Damp creatine will slowly break down to the useless (toxic) creatinine over time.

chinese shit

If you don't get Creapure, at least make sure the creatine is HPLC tested for purity. Should say it somewhere on the container.

What's the general consensus on monohydrate vs Kre-Alkalyn?

Kre-Alkalyn is a con.
