Cooked Protein Powder

Could anyone point me to some scientific information that looks at what happens to Protein Powder when you cook it (for example to make pancakes with oats and eggs). Does the cooking process ruin or lessen the protein?

We obviously cook meat and eggs with no problem.

Exactly, there are some schools of thought that the protein somehow evaporates from protein powder when it's cooked. I don't see how this would happen, I wonder if anybody has ever properly researched this?

Apparently most of the protein in eggs isn't bio-available until it's cooked. I used to chuck a few in my shakes but stopped after being told it doesn't do shit and I could potentially expose myself to harmful bacteria :?

In answer to your question, I don't think exposing protein powder to heat denaturises it. People have been making protein pancakes, muffins etc for ages.

Cooking is no more denaturing than the acid in your stomach. As far as Ive seen the "raw protein is better" train of thought is just a bodybuilding old wives tale

If you need a home science experiment to prove this to yourself crack an egg into a cup of vineger or lemon juice and observe the results.
