Hi,

I have been viewing for a while so I thought I would drop my hat into the ring and say hello.

I have been training now for around a year now consistantly, not for competition purposes but for health and fitness. I have dropped off around 30kgs of fat and managed to get abs and good realistic strength goals.

Looking forward to gaining and sharing some knowledge with you guys.

I'm down at about 85kg (I'm 6'2) at the moment with around 12% Body fat. I was up to 93kgs with 10% BF but found this unsustainable. I was lifting heavy and taking Creatine combined with lots of protein shakes as well (I'm Vegetarian as all Gorillas are).

I have changed my approached to training from just weights and cardio to very challenging circuits for all all over workout with a trainer 3 times a week. They are utterly shattering. They incorporate Kettlebells, heavy medicine balls, body weight exercises and leave me retching in the corner most of the time. This is used with boxing and martial arts and lots of stretching and recovery. I recently did a beep test and got to level 11, so my VO2 Max is around 51 so I appear to be in good shape.
