that you can tell if the whey protein is of good quality on how quickly it dissolves?

coz i just bought some red8 whey and i dissolved it in one swirl of my spoon,i was shocked, zero clumps,i mean zero clumps.eas is quite easy to dissolve too.

tasted like crap though,I miss my PVL whey maxx :shifty:

Mixibility is a big factor for me when it comes to choosing protein but I don't think it's a measure of the purity/quality of the protein itself. Cytosport is the best mixing powder of all the protein powders I have tried so far. I got it cheap when Punch was selling it for $80ish for 5lb. It's about 82% protein aswell

Yeah I bought 1kg of Red8 vanilla to try out, and found it did have a rather strange taste - but you get used to it after a while.

Not sure about now, but they weren't using soy lecithin for their 'instantising' agent when I had my bag - it was something else (I remember cos it sounded weird and I googled it) Can't remember what it was called now though :(

So yeah, nothing to do with protein quality :pfft:

I would think all NZ packaged whey would use the same WPC from Fonterra anyway
