Hi all,

The Oz Strongman Dead-Log competitions are scheduled for 12 September (Napier), 26 September (Auckland) and 27 September (All Australian locations).

Mitre 10 Mega have come to the party for the Napier competition and are hosting the event and sponsoring prizes (not to mention advertising on radio and by flyer). As you can imagine we are keen to continue this relationship into the future so if you can get on down to the Mega in Napier on Sat 12 Sept we'd appreciate it.

Should be a good fun comp for first timers & seasoned campaigners alike given the events (see http://www.ozstrongman.com.au for more details or http://www.ozstrongmanonline.com.au/for ... p?f=1&t=31 ). Being a 'postal comp' you can compare results across a large number of competitors of all levels, and there are prizes at each local venue.

Hope to see you there (as competitors or spectators).

Nate

Just an update for this Saturday (12 September) the Oz Strongman Dead-Log competition comes to Napier @ Mitre 10 Mega. (Event details at http://www.ozstrongmanonline.com.au/for ... p?f=1&t=31 ).

Eastside Barbell (Thanks Craig McG) have lent us their Rolling Thunder, so we will run an informal comp for spectators throughout the day. Come test your grip strength on the Rolling Thunder & try to beat Mark Felix's world record! (approx 140kg  ).

Looking forward to an awesome comp (will be great to be able to compare the postal results with Akld, Brisbane, Sydney & Perth). Hope to see you there (as competitors or spectators supporting our sponsor Mitre 10 Mega  ).
