What are your strong/weak body parts?

Thought I'd ask the questions since my recent last 12 months training has really exposed the weakest body part. Here is the breakdown:

Chest: Good

Triceps: Good

Delts: Very Good

Biceps: Shit

Back: Future Mr Olympia

Quads: Very Good

Hams: Good

Calves: Good

Abs: Good

Forearms: Good (a bit oversized compared to upper arms)

So, since my Back makes such great gains (thick & wide) my arms end up getting dwarfed. Now I know this is all genetic (trust me I've tried everything for arms) and the strange thing is my biceps are quite strong (12 reps 60kg Ez-Bar) but they just don't get that big (although the shape is there I.e. Peaked and long)). So I've decided to change Back to every 2 weeks and Biceps to twice a week. I also found that the Biceps actually respond better to lighter weight and higher reps.

So what about you (competitive and recreational) guys? Do you typically change your routines to get better balance and proportion? or just keeping banging it out week after week?

Oh Dorian, nice of you to post your pic here (when you were in your prime)!

Tongue-n-check man, geez keep it in perspective.

I was providing an assessment of MY body parts and how they responded to training I wasn't comparing them to anyone else!

Hmm, sore point there. I was 91Kgs+ a couple of weeks ago and now I'm 86kgs. Yes I am cutting for Summer but I think the drop is a bit too drastic. All I did was reduce carbs and added (only a little) cardio.

And yes, as a result I am tired (and grumpy), so I'm thinking the carb reduction might be too much. Bulking up is much more fun!

Major Carbs spread over a day are (roughly) madeup of 3/4 cup of rolled oats. 6 pieces of whole grain bread, 1 cup of rice, broccoli (or other) with 2 meals. 2 servings of fruit, half an avocado.

Even in bulking stage I eat 95% clean.

BF is hard to judge, I still have a 6 pack but a bit fabby around the lower mid section, at a guess 12-14%.

As for the older photo, that's my point. Back is good, arms suck.

I'm off to eat some rice!

The side effect I'm finding is they are getting in the way when I walk!

I mean my triceps are sitting on my lats now when I stand with arms by my side and rub when walking (arms swaying).

I guess I shouldn't complain but how many of you guys have 'developed' this 'issue' and do you get used to it?

give it a rest please you weigh 86kg you cant be that big

Faark, I'm the low carb grumpy bastard yet post something with a bit of dry humour then get pounced on. Get a friggin life.

I've never said I was 'big' in any post here and I don't need your judgement on my size.

A. You don't know my height. B. I'm natural. C. I'm ectomorhpic, any muscle is hard earned.

Rested!

hmm yes well physically they are very strong in proportion... not so much in size though, not quite sure what you ment by strongest ? if you ment size then my list is all changed

hmmm, I should have clarified that point. My list is stating relative proportion not really strength. As stated, my Biceps are relativity strong but not big and what I consider to be lagging behind in size relative to other body parts.

And I partly judge this on what I see in others around the gym. There are guys with great biceps but they seem to get away with lifting much lighter weight than me.

Genetics!

I'm all for supporting people motivated about the sport. Most BIG guys get by without telling everyone how big they are, their humbleness motivates others to compliment them. I hope you can imagine how it must come across to have a small guy harp on about how big he is. You can only grin and bear it for so long. You can't expect people in the real world to be so patient...
