In conjunction with this competition, we will also be holding a bench press seminar/workshop. Reuben Simanu will be the presenter. Reuben is our top bench presser and one of the most knowledgeable people we have in the sport. This seminar will be valuable for all strength sport enthusiasts including bodybuilders.

The seminar will take place on the evening of Friday 16 October at Eastside Barbell Club (495 St Asaph St, Christchurch). I will confirm the time shortly.

Leighton Best broke the NZ record in the 82.5kg class with a massive 205 kg.
