i love squatting in the morning, just get a quick feed in you and youll be sweet, higher test levels etc.... you can notice the difference

Bang on.

I don't believe that having a slight test spike in the morning is a substitute for having carbed up during the day.

It's not just Test, your energy levels and concentration are way higher. There is a noticeable difference but hey I'm not trying to convert you, if you don't agree don't do it :nod:

rolled oats and a shake hour and a half before, double serve of red demon, 2 asprin and a black coffee 20min before workout

Every day? Don't you find energy drinks lose effectiveness once you build up a resilience to them? And the coffee on top? And taking 2 aspirin a day is meant to inhibit growth since your brain uses inflammation as a signal for muscle growth...

nothing :-s is this really bad. this is a really early morning workout for me and I just have some water on the way. s'all good. Obviously can't go as hard as if you have a full days worth of food but for me doesn't matter so much

Testosterone levels are higher in the morning, I notice a considerable difference in my strength if I lift in the morning as opposed to the avo. I disagree with people who think they need to get a whole lot of food in them before they train.

I agree with shruglife - no need to pile in the food prior to work out - especially if your working out in the morning. Personally, Ill have SP250, multi vitamin, and thats pretty much it. As soon as work out is over then Ill have the protein shake, creatine recory stack, 2 banana's, weetbix with milk and yogurt

lol nah the metaphysics red demon, i take the asprin to thin my blood out a little but i dont know if its ideal after you saying that :doh:

wow..depends what I want to do with my body come bulking time or cutting time..

(Morning)Cutting time pre workout=8x boiled eggs with a dash of sweet chilli sauce 60min out from training(only the white bits to eat) then Black coffee and 2x no dose pills 30min out from training. Also some days I will have absoloutley nothing before training.

(Morning)Bulking/Mass season pre workout=2hrs out 1x protein shake (water). 1.5hrs out I eat Cup of oats, banana, honey, whole milk. 1hr out,95g Tuna on toast. thats it...I dont supplement with anything else except protein...and I take my multis,vits at lunch time...

Usually training early am so preferably nothing but a stimulant based product to fire up my cetral nervous system and crack a sweat early.

Sup of choice been Superpump 250 (2 scoops 30 mins before hitting stationary cycle for w/up) with noticable results usually-but trialling a product called NO SHotgun Version 3 (I found on http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/top50.htm a couple of spots down from SuperPump250) that has really impressed me lately. I used to take 1/4 scoop of 100% Whey 15 mins prior to workout get a dose of BCAAs without much cal's but discovered the Shotgun has 20g of hydrolised protein in it along with NO, creatine, Beta-Alanine, BCAAs blah, blah, blah and also a different energy buzz than Superpump. ALthough I think I prefer a 2 scoop Superpump energy wave than the single scoop Shotgun buzz but cant denie the extras and tasty flavour. SP250 is very sour!

I use to have a protein shake preworkout but can't afford it at the moment as I'm a student. Looking to save up and purchase superpump and some more whey protein. I've never tried superpump and have heard good things about this product so will see how it goes.

It's pretty sweet. It had the best effect the first time I used it.

Had a bit of the shakes, heaps of energy.

As soon as I put my weights down I wanted to grab some more.

Couldn't sleep many hours later :pfft:

I like the effect Superpump 250 gives me, also I take 2x caffeine pills and a vitamin C. I sometimes change it and if I am in between comps, I may take creatine in the Superpump to about 30 mins before training.
