eggs or replacements

Do you guys eat eggs? If so how do you prepare them?

I want a quick and easy way to eat them as usually I'm in a rush in the mornings and at other times when I eat them. Is it possible to put them in the microwave for like a minute to kill any slamonella.. aid digestion.. yet still be in a liquid state? (similar to pasteurisation)

Or am I just trying to take the simple way out?

prep the night prior. and microwave for 2 mins in morn to have scrambled.

or boil them. I find that boiling them is an easy way to take the protein, but it makes loads of mess.

as far as I know the protein in eggs becomes more available after properly cooking them anyhows.

Hey there, I am a copetitor and have been dieting for quite some time now. i get up at 5.00am and do my cardio. i get back at 5.50am and have ten minutes left to prepare my brefast as first meal is at 6.00am sharp. I have been using simply egg whites for the last couple of months and this works out so quick and easy. one bottle lasts me three times as it has 30 eggs in it. i just pour it in a bowl and nuk in the microwave. i put a cap full of flax seed oil with it and a few spices and it is fantastic. you can by it online at bodyscuplt.co.nz, the people there are really friendly to. not like many other supplement gurus out there.

any way, thats all for me and i know some will be negative but this work for me.

there's allways someone with a negitive attitude. have you ever tried there egg whites?? i know plenty of top bodybuilders using this product and it really is fantastic and so easy.

I cook 7 hard boiled eggs on my Breville egg cooker the night before.

I have 3 in my tuna, brown rice, egg white and spinach meal twice a day at 10am and 3pm.

I have 1 whole hardboiled egg at 12.30pm with either a chicken breast or a steak as a Protein-fat meal.

Breakfast i have 150ml simply egg whites in my Metaphysics metamaxx chocolate protein shake with water.

Persolally i'll eat anything that will give me clean protein. I like simply egg whites.

Hey as a matter of interest does anyone no how many eggs in 150ml of simply egg whites?

Gee that means i have 10.5 eggwhites and 1 whole egg per day. :shock:

any 1 else have that many?

So sponge it all comes down to the preperation. I make sure i have my whole weeks food in the house be it in the freezer, fridge or pantry by sunday night. And the next days food prepared the night before.

liquid egg whites are the greatest invention ever. convenient, and a great source of protein.

im not trying to be negative, im just angry because my liquid egg whites place got bought out by a guy who now sells them at a ridiculous price. so i have to either buy from him or buy from that internet site... or else move countries.

Just been reading what you guys have said on here about eggs

I was with a friend the other morning who gets in to his bodybuilding he was cooking us some breakfast, he pulled out these egg whites in a container just stright egg whites in a 1 kg container, im just putting it on here if it might help anyone.

I like my way of cooking eggs.

I throw in about 6 whole eggs into a pot then cut up some cheese rather than grating cause that takes too long then i add some milk then just turn the element on and stir it until it's all scrambled up. Takes about 5 minutes to do everything, quick and easy.

We need some f#$n price moderation to get the rates down a...just like protein powders, pretty pricey too. Often cheaper to stick with eggs, tuna and cottage cheese.

These days the only supplements i seem to buy are creatine, glutamine. Protein shake 1 a day... gone are the days where I can afford 3 shakes a day.

Hrdcor posted about this a while ago. Sports Supplement retail has very low margins in comparison to other forms of retail. Jewellery for example can be up to 400%! Most supplement retailers would be lucky to get a 33% margin.

The products go through a lot of processes to refine them to certain levels of purity. Hence why some forms of Protein, like Micellar Caseins and Whey Isolates, are pretty pricey.

I'd look at what products you buy, rather than the price. Varven, you are pretty much on the money for your Glutamine, Creatine, and one Protein shake a day. That ain't silly in my book.

Sponge, some people have already cottoned onto your 'market'. The products produced are cheap, and nowhere near as effective as the more expensive ones. People tend to buy them once, use them, and then decide to spend a little more.
