Yep 60min max feels perfect for me (including 10-15min cardio warm up) any longer and it either means my rest times were too long or I've done too many sets for that given muscle group 8)

Technically everybody is different and you have to listen to your body, it doesnt follow the clock on the wall, its fried when its fried :wink:

I have a bad habit of doing "just a quick set of X too" before I finish.

I can't help it, If i can feel a muscle that I don't think has been worked hard enough I'll chuck in a set of something to try to isolate that muscle before I feel I've actually finished.

it's probably weird, but I am starting to enjoy the doms and feel cheated if I'm not feeling them most of the time. (not so good though when trying to quickly cross the road a day after big leg work :oops: )

I picked 30-44 minutes training alone. 45-59 minutes if with a training partner and don't think you should take any longer than this as you should be well and truly pooped and not able to do much except stumble out of the gym *if you have worked hard enough* :grin:

*Cardio 30-45mins 1-2 times daily is separate*

It means..expect a full case of doms saturating every muscle in your body when you train wif da COUGAR! :twisted:
